Petition updateRedistribute final grades for all MATH courses taken during the Spring 2014 semester at UIC based on how the current policy was enforced during previous semesters.
We are still fighting!

Although Lawrence Ein stated that the grades would be recalculated, it has come to our attention that not all professors did so, and grades were still not as expected. Two professors have gone on record stating that grades were not recalculated for their sections. Moreover, Ein has implemented a make-shift solution to this ordeal by providing review sessions for all the calculus classes. Students have the option to retake the final exam and have that one grade change their grade for Spring 2014. We feel this is an injustice as it 1.) implies that students are somehow at fault for the grading decision and grade calculation and 2.) it's last minute nature is unfair to students who cannot attend due to jobs, internships, vacations, and/or living too far away from campus.
