University Heights is an apartment building leased to BSU. Despite promises of a safe environment for students to live, UH experiences routine break-ins and thefts. Just on 8/31/21, four cars were broken into. Moreover, several apartments have been broken into as well. Numerous bikes have been stolen. BSU is responsible for keeping students safe. However, there is no routine security and no floodlights. UH residents are expected to follow the rules and restrictions of as if we live on campus, yet we are not even provided with proper security. BSU must do better.
