BSD is planing to remove chat from teams. I feel that this is a mistake becasue many kids use teams chat and rely on it to receive help from teachers, friends, and classmates.

While I agree with the district needing to do something to solve the problem of kids using the chat section of teams during class, I think a better solution to this problem may be a comprimise. Instead of removing chat from teams completely maybe they could remove it only during school hours. 

I understand and agree with the fact that teams chat is a problem during school hours.  However with my proposed solution chat would no longer be a problem during school hours. I hope that you will consider re-thinking your decision to completely remove the chat function from teams and will instead only close it during school hours.
