We appreciate the passion of our community — and many city employees — who hold a nostalgic place in their heart for Skate King, but the property is not for sale. In fact, it has already been leased to another local business. Development Services is currently in the process of reviewing the building permit that will allow the new tenant, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, to modify the facility for their needs. While Skate King had its own wonderful footprint in the history of Bellevue that will be difficult to duplicate, we encourage families to create new traditions and take advantage of Bellevue’s award winning parks and recreational activities. Choices include an indoor skate park, three outdoor skate facilities, five community centers, Bellevue Botanical Garden, Bellevue Zip Tour, and countless fun ways for kids to stay active. Bellevue offers thousands of recreation programs each year, touching nearly every household through parks and recreation programs and services.
