Help Restore Udalls Cove to Its Natural Beauty!

This petition had 301 supporters

Please sign my petition to remove the concrete structure from Udalls Cove that detracts from the Cove's natural beauty and attracts vandals, like those who set the osprey's nest on fire (above picture). I am petitioning the Belgrave Water Pollution Control District to add the removal of the structure to their upcoming discharge update project.

My name is Ian T. and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 10 in Great Neck, New York. Currently, I am working toward the rank of Eagle Scout.

A recent tragedy occurred in Udalls Cove, New York when vandals set an osprey nest on fire destroying both the nest and the eggs inside the nest. This nest sat on top of a concrete structure (part of a sewer discharge system that will soon be take out of commission). The structure is an eyesore that takes away from the natural beauty of Udalls Cove; and, as we learned from the recent event, it invites trouble and vandals. I need your help to ask for the removal of the structure to be included in an upcoming capital project. Please add your name to the petition asking for the structure to be taken down.

Once I receive enough signatures, I will present this petition to the Board of Commissioners of the Belgrave Water Pollution Control District.

With your help, we can prevent future acts of vandalism and restore Udalls Cove to its natural beauty.

Thank you for your support and please share this with others.
