Apologize for the murder of Lennox, a service dog
Breed-specific bans such as the one enacted by the city council of Belfast and other places around the world make it so easy for animals such as Lennox to be mistakenly identified as a vicious animal and put to death. The Belfast City Council was given plenty of opportunity to rectify its mistake; they were even given the chance to send him to the United States, where he would have been given a loving home. Instead, they chose to heartlessly murder this beautiful dog and depive a young special needs girl of her service animal.
With that in mind, we the undersigned call on the city council of Belfast to apologize for this heinous act, make reparations to Lennox's family, and resign en masse. Until such time as these things happen we will not travel to Belfast, nor will we buy goods and services made in Belfast. Those who perpetrated this crime must be held accountable for what they have done.
