Being caged in a zoo is a curse, nature reservoirs are bliss.

The Issue

Hi I am Mehek from Agra, India. Since childhood I have had a different level of affection towards nature and its magical creature god has given in this world which was evidently visible in my actions of day to day life whether it is feeding a street animal or rescuing them from a road accident. Fortunately this increased as I started travelling and exploring different places within my country.

With time I realised and could feel that as we are moving ahead with time so many issues are coming up like increase in population, mental issue, health issues, emotional instability in life, young kids can feel the burden of depression and stress on their shoulder without even being stepping in their teenage and somewhere it is all related to our intake we do everyday whether it is food that we eat water that we drink or air that we breathe.

Why do we run towards hill leaving our day to day life why nature call us after every quarterly or yearly basis why we feel free and happy when we are close to nature instead of concrete i guess we all know the answer now imagine you being unable to speak and somebody put you in cage for lifetime they'll decide when you eat where you sleep what you can play with in a limited space and random people come to visit you almost everyday some might generous enough to treat you with respect others might be not.

Go visit a zoo, feel the stress on their face, feel the need of being free in their eyes, feel their pain in continuous stressful body movement. They are not born aggressive; they become that way with time. their family is snatched from them and put up for display in any other zoo as if they are just a thing to be used for our benefit.

Government invests money in their food and maintenance of the zoo and pays salaries to the employees. We can do the same for keeping them free in an open environment and at least can try to make a little change in their life.

We cannot snatch basic right to live free! Just think! It is crucial not only for them but for us and for our upcoming generations.

Hopefully this alarms some sense in humans. It is high time to stop over utilising any resource for our own selfishness. I request everyone to come up and support me in this movement.

Please make sure you share it to maximum people and bring attention to it.

Thank you
