We (the signers of this petition) don't want another person, including you, to ever commit suicide. Why? Because we love you, and if you don't believe it, just read all the comments.
Have some of us ever wanted to be dead? We'll be honest: we have, at times. That does not mean we're crazy, demented, or wacko. As someone with a PhD in psychology, I know that it is actually very normal for individuals--at times--to just want to go to sleep and never wake up. It's happened to me! And sometimes the feeling lasted for a really long time.
But... the good news is--we usually always do wake up, and in time--even if it takes months or years--the reasons we wanted to be dead usually also resolve. So hold on! Please! Just keep reading until the end.
The fact that our life problems usually resolve for the better is great news because it means we should reconsider any decision to want to kill ourselves. Why? Because it means our problems by and large usually tend to resolve themselves (and for the better) if we can just be a little more patient and hold on just one more day.
We know: you feel like your problems are so insurmountable that killing yourself is maybe the only potential option, and that it has to happen now. Maybe you have even started taking active steps towards killing yourself.
STOP. Just for a moment.
Usually individuals in your position take these steps because they have no support. No one to talk to. No one to remind them that there IS a way out. No one to give them the love they need. The forgiveness they need. The hope that they need.
Well, we--the friends and supporters here at Break Diving, Inc. and the signers of this petition--written just for you--want to be that love, support, and hope. We are your way out, and we will help you. Just reach out! We want this petition to be the first place for you to turn when you start to think the worst and when you feel you have no one else to talk to.
