The Langley City Council voted unanimously to remove the annexation agreement on the Coles Road development.

My goal in creating this petition was to bring more people into public discourse around this controversial development. That happened, with great gusto. Thank you all. From that view, this petition has been a success.

Now we wait to see whether the newly approved 85+ dwellings will truly remain affordable housing indefinitely, and whether the developers and investors will fully commit to the infrastructure investment this many dwellings will require in such a sensitive environment.

I am hopeful.
