In a short time, this petition has reached 105 signatures — and it continues to grow.
Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and left thoughtful comments. Your words show how deeply people care about Paramus and the future of our community.
Paramus has always been a town that adapts and grows while protecting what makes it special. The leadership and residents here have built schools, neighborhoods, businesses, and parks that generations have enjoyed.
A generation helped build this town. Now it may be our generation’s turn to help save what remains. Even trying shows that this community cares.
From what we’ve been able to find so far, the future of this land has not been officially finalized, which means community voices still matter.
And those voices are you.
The people signing, sharing, and speaking up are the real heroes of this effort. You should be proud — this momentum is happening because of you. Every signature shows that our community is paying attention and that people are willing to stand up and try.
Our next goal is 200 signatures.
Help us reach 200 voices for Paramus — every signature helps our community be heard.
Momentum is already building.
And this isn’t only about our community — it’s about showing that communities everywhere can stand up for the places that matter to them.
Progress itself is not the enemy. True progress requires balance, and the people are who progress is meant to serve.
Sometimes progress simply means preserving a place where people can walk, gather, breathe, and reflect.
At some point, we are all called to lead by example. Let’s be leaders and learn from the communities around us — from the preservation of the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park in Paterson to historic preservation efforts in New Brunswick. When communities recognize what matters and protect it, they help define their future. Paramus can do the same.
If anyone knows other places this petition could be shared — community groups, organizations, schools, or local pages — please feel free to let us know. The more awareness we create together, the greater our ability to reach people who care about our town.
If you know someone who loves Paramus or remembers what our town once looked like, please consider sharing this with them or tagging them so they can see it too.
If you have memories or photos of Paramus from years past, feel free to share them as well — remembering what we once had reminds us why it matters to protect what remains.
If you’re seeing this update and haven’t signed yet, please consider adding your voice before our next milestone update.
Thank you for standing up for Paramus and helping this effort grow.
