Each semester, students are forced to hold the burden of high transportation costs in NYC. Out of city students receive the heaviest burden, such as myself. I pay almost $500/month for the LIRR and NYC Transit monthly passes. As a college student, I am forced to work a job or it would not be possible to attend classes at Baruch. This is simply unacceptable and we must petition NYS to #BeFare and grant us a modest fare reduction! ​
