Beeville needs Rescues & Fosters

What many of you may not know is that Beeville's animal shelter is extremely outdated and has only 8 kennels. The town is discussing of putting a dog park in place but the issue is that the area is full of awful humans who dump and abandon animals all over town. On top of that, most are unaware of the importance of spay/neuter as well as vaccinations, heartworm treatment to prevent strays and disease. 

What Beeville needs

• Low cost spay/neuter program
• Low cost vet care esp. heartworm prevention
• Fosters & Adopters
• Larger shelter
• More kennels
• More volunteers
• Education on the issue and importance of preventing reproduction. 

What a dog park in this town will look like

• Will just become a new dumping area
  
• Risk of pets and owners getting attacked or injured from aggressive untrained dogs of irresponsible owners
  
• Spread of diseases from unvaccinated dogs and the feces that were not disposed of
