Die Hinrichtung eines unschuldigen Demonstranten unmittelbar nach den erfolgreichen dreitägigen Protestaktionen und Streiks am 6., 7. Und 8. Dez. 2022 im ganzen Land ist keine bloße Hinrichtung eines politischen Gefangenen. Sie ist die Hinrichtung einer unschuldigen Geisel. Mohsen Schekari war, wie weitere zwanzig- bis dreizigtausend weitere Demonstranten, bei einer friedlichen Demonstration festgenommen worden. Weitere 5 Gefangene wurden auch inzwischen zum Tode verurteilt, weil sie angeblich einen paramilitärischen „Bazidji“ getötet haben sollen. Nicht nur sie warten auf ihre Hinrichtung, sondern auch tausende weitere unschuldige Menschen in Geiselhaft. Sie wurden entweder prophylaktisch festgenommen oder gekidnappt. Alle sind bloßer Faustpfand, den das Regime der „Islamischen Republik“ wie eine Besatzungsmacht zur Abschreckung hinrichten will. Ihr Leben hängt, seiner Meinung nach, von der Reaktion der Weltöffentlichkeit und der Protestierenden ab. Das Regime kommuniziert also mit diesen Hinrichtungen mit den Protestierenden, die sich durch keine der blutigen Gewalttaten des Regimes haben einschüchtern lassen: entweder hört ihr auf zu demonstrieren, oder weitere Geiseln werden hingerichtet.

Da die Protestierenden nicht aufhören können, weil dies eine blutige Säuberung im ganzen Land zur Folge haben wird, hängt das Leben der Geiseln von der Reaktion der Weltöffentlichkeit ab. Vor allem sind die demokratischen Regierungen der Welt und die UNO verpflichtet, das Regime an seine „Schutzverantwortung“ zu erinnern und dies politisch und diplomatisch zu sanktionieren. Der Bruch der diplomatischen Beziehungen wäre eine der Sanktionsmöglichkeiten. Denn das Konzept der “Responsibility to Protect” macht jeden „Souverän“ für den Schutz seiner Bevölkerung verantwortlich. Sonst verliert er seine Souveränität. Kann oder will ein Staat dies nicht, geht die Verantwortung an die internationale Gemeinschaft über. Handelt bevor es zu spät ist.

The execution of an innocent protester immediately after the successful three-day protests and strikes across the country on Dec. 6, 7 and 8, 2022, is not a mere execution of a political prisoner. Because the protesters cannot stop, because this will result in a bloody purge throughout the country, the lives of the hostages depend on the reaction of the world public. Above all, the democratic governments of the world and the UN are obliged to remind the regime of its "responsibility to protect" and to sanction this politically and diplomatically. The rupture of diplomatic relations would be one of the sanction options. Because the concept of "Responsibility to Protect" makes every "sovereign" responsible for the protection of his population. Otherwise he loses his sovereignty. If a state cannot or does not want to do this, responsibility passes to the international community. Act before it's too late.
