Due to horse "unfriendly" town code/policies, residential owners with horses on their property known as backyard barns are leaving our town of Bedford, NY. They are moving to horse friendly neighboring towns. WE would like to change our town laws and adopt new ones that would be inclusive of all horses residing here and preserve the long tradition of our town which has a rich history of farms. It is a beautiful sight to drive around our town and see horses grazing in a yard. We need your support to have new laws adopted. If you could sign our petition, it would be greatly appreciated.
