Hello, This petition was originally launched 4 years ago. Since then our campaign has come a long way. After the former Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, rejected this petition we launched a larger and stronger campaign. This has involved crowdfunded proposals, major events, films and lots of conversations, thinking and lobbying. 4 years later and our campaign is on the brink of success. London can become a National Park City once the Mayor of London and the majority of the capital's 654 elected ward teams have declared their support. As of today, we not only have Sadiq Khan's support, but also 301 ward teams. This means we only require 27 more ward teams to declare their support. With a fair wind, London could be confirmed to become a National Park City this year and then launched in 2019. Please take a moment to help the campaign by doing one or more of these three things. 1. Ask an undeclared councillor to declare their support You can do this by email or on Twitter.
