Hello,

This petition for London to become a National Park City was planted five years ago. We've grown a long way since then.

I am delighted to share the:

• London National Park City will be launched on 22 July of this year,
• National Park City Foundation has been established to help make the London National Park City a success,
• Mayor of London is working with the National Park City Foundation on the first National Park City Festival which will take place from 20-28 July,
• National Park City Foundation is working with World Urban Parks, Salzburg Global Seminar and other partners on developing a Universal Charter for National Park Cities
• BBC included the London National Park City in Cities: Nature's New Wild. Watch from 51 minutes!
• Campaigns are beginning for other cities around the world to become National Park Cities too.

We now need to involve as many people as possible.
