It's been three years since this petition was opened and we asked Mayor of London Boris Johnson to help us make London a National Park City. Since then, our movement has come a long way. In our 2015 proposal we outlined how London can become a National Park City if the Mayor of London and two-thirds (436 of 654) of the capital's electoral ward teams gave their support. As of today, we not only have London Mayor Sadiq Khan's support, but 218 wards... which is 50% of the ward teams that we need. Our challenge now is to recruit the support of 218 more ward teams.
