Ban the sale of Mink Lashes in the UK

Mink Lashes are often deemed as ‘cruelty free’ because companies claim that the fur used to make Mink Lashes is obtained by brushing the animal - not killing it.

The reality is - minks are confined to small, depressing, cramped wire cages in highly unsanitary conditions. They are often left without appropriate food, water and are denied the opportunity to bathe, swim, burrow, or do anything else that’s natural and important to them.

Minks are solitary and territorial animals who are naturally afraid of humans. Being handled by humans and having their fur pulled from them would be a stressful and terrifying experience.

Ultimately, the Minks kept on these fur farms end up being violently killed by electrocution, bludgeoned, gassed or having their skin ripped from them while they are still conscious.

We need to be the voice for these helpless animals who have no say in what happens to their own fur. The treatment of these defenceless animals is completely abhorrent and unnecessary. There are plenty of alternatives for Mink Lashes which are of great quality - There should be no space for these now!

Please sign this petition and share it far and wide to raise awareness that ‘cruelty free’ Mink Lashes are anything but cruelty-free.

Our aim is to ban the sale of all Mink Lashes across the UK and we hope that leading companies in the beauty industry take note that we, the consumer, will continue to highlight this issue.
