Every female has a different hair style, length, color, or type. People tend to define someone’s race by their hair type or vice versa. Often this leads to hair or race discrimination. This happens the most at schools. Children start to notice hair differences and sometimes this comes from their household. There’s many stereotypes made like certain races having hair lice or bugs and this leads kids to spreading rumors and causing discrimination. Every children should be able to go to school with any hairstyle and not having to worry about being judge. Just as no one should feel embarrassed or their hair type. Parents need to stop teaching their children stereotypes. Everyone’s hair is beautiful and unique in their own way. Hair discrimination needs to stop and mainly in schools. Hair discrimination also happens to males with long hair or females with short hair. Despite gender, anyone has the right to have any desired hair length. Gender doesn’t determine the correct hair length neither does hair length determine gender. Hair norms must be removed from today’s society!
