With less than 5 months in the seat as the new QBCC Commissioner and CEO; Angelo Lambrinos is starting to make some changes in what Queenslanders hope as a positive way forward for the regulator to finally start regulating in protecting the homeowners.  Today's Courier Mail reports on 3 senior positions removed and new divisions within the QBCC.

This month a few of the homeowners and other stakeholders gathered at the "QBCC Commissioners Roundtable" for a new initiative designed to bring the voices of home owners directly into the conversation to inform reform at QBCC and in the building and construction industry.  The QBCC Commissioner and Chairperson are committed to better supporting homeowners to navigate the system and to hold licensees accountable and uphold the regulatory standards in Queensland.

The QBCC thanks and acknowledges their appreciation to the homeowners who have given their time so generously to advocate for others and to make the industry better. The contributions provided were thoughtful and brought a great level of depth and honesty to the conversation.  This is just one of the ongoing meetings and discussions that will be had to ensure that our voices will be heard to help shape QBCC Reform and better protection for Queenslanders.

Please keep sharing the petition so we can share the progress and receive feedback from everyone so that we can share your voice on any concerns or feedback to improve the system.
