Just some quick comments on the BC Ferry Information Meeting in Crofton Community Centre yesterday afternoon about the down gauging of the New Terminal Improvements at both Crofton and Vesuvius. 

Comments from the Crofton Residents on a Bulletin Board when exiting:

1. 3 Comments about the acquiring land from Catalyst and go with Plan B. This is the Plan that is being axed, which moved the Ferry Traffic completely off Chaplin St and puts the Ferry Terminal and Trestle just to the North on a small piece of Catalyst/Mill Land. 

2. One comment that was interesting, forget about the New Ferries, do The New Plan B Ferry Terminal Improvements. Obviously not a Ferry User but would like to see the Traffic Chaos Addressed on Chaplin St during peak demand. 

No Salt Springers in attendance, the reason, no one was apprised. 

When asked how are they going to dismantle the wood and creosote pile trestle and build a new steel pile and concrete trestle at the same time and move traffic? The answer was, there will be delays. Indeed.
