We've hit a big milestone today as we've now broken the four-figure barrier, with over 1,000 people having signed in support of a DVD release for "The Underwater Menace"!
The amount of support so far has been absolutely fantastic - a massive thanks to everyone who's signed so far, and to anyone who's taken the time to help spread the word! All of your support has been incredibly important, as the more signatures we can get, the better we can demonstrate to BBC Worldwide that there's still interest in a DVD release of this story. So, please keep on sharing and raising awareness of the petition as we head towards the next goal of 1,500 supporters!
As well as signing the petition, sending a direct message to BBC Worldwide is also important to raise awareness that there's still demand for the DVD's release. Thanks again to anyone who's already sent them a message of support - if you've not yet sent one, you can do so in any of the following ways:
• Send a polite letter registering your interest to the following address:
BBC Worldwide Ltd
33 Foley Street
London
W1W 7TL
UK
• Send an enquiry using BBC Worldwide's online contact form at the following address: http://www.bbcworldwide.com/contact-us.aspx
• Send a tweet to @bbcwpress and @classicdw stating your support for the release, using the hashtag #SaveTheFishPeople
Thanks again for all your help so far - keep on spreading the word to any groups or individuals that you think would be interested. Together we can show BBC Worldwide that there's still support for this DVD's release!
