Swimming is a mass participation sport that is under represented on TV. Swimming is a fundamental life skill and has well documented health benefits to participants whatever their age.
Competitive swimmers are amazing athletes and are role models to our children, often juggling jobs or studies with tough swim training.
With the exception of the Olympics competitive swimmers simply don’t get adequate television coverage.
We want to see more swimming on television including but not limited to the British Swimming Championships, British Summer and Winter Nationals, European Juniors, World Juniors and the new format competitions currently being set up by ISL and FINA.
