This is the result of the online poll to continue the petition or to close it down after the election defeat. The poll closed at 12 noon yesterday, and the poll will not accept anymore replies. Only 677 took part in the poll. Those that did overwhelmingly wanted to continue the petition 98.8% (669 votes). Only 1.2% wanted to end the petition (8 votes).

We are heading towards 1000 more who have signed the petition since the election result. Once we get to 22,000 I am going to stop actively looking for more to sign the petition. I am still going to continue however, actively trying to hold the BBC to account for their role during the election.

The size of the online group has almost doubled since the defeat, with currently 350 members. We shall continue with the petition as we await a proper reply from the BBC. Then we will contact Ofcom. I will keep you informed of developments.
