After the way Rob Burrow has handled his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease and used his platform to raise awareness and raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association, I really believe he should be recognised and made a nominee in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.

Rob's phrase is 'It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.'  He has never given up fighting and deserves some recognition.
