The TV license is an unnecessary fee, forced upon British people.

We disagree with paying for the TV license, it should certainly be free. All other TV channels work from an angle of paying for TV with advertisements, surely we could live with ads, rather than having to pay (as a country) to watch the television, without a choice in the matter. The only time this could be justified is if it was subscription based, like YouTube Premium, but no, it is not, it is forced upon the British people.
