Rob Burrows is a former professional rugby league player who played for 16years for Leeds Rhinos, England and Great Britain.

Burrow was known for many years as "the smallest player in Super League". Despite this, he was one of the most successful players in the competition's history, having won a total of 8 Super League championships, two Challenge Cups, been named to the Super League Dream Team on three occasions and won the Harry Sunderland Trophy twice.

In December 2019 he was diagnosed with MND (Motor Neurone disease).

despite this awful debilitating condition Rob Burrows has spent his time raising awareness and has touched the lives of many by sharing his condition and the effect it has on him and his family publicly.

If anyone this year has deserved the title ‘Sports Personality of the Year’ it’s Rob Burrows. Yet he’s not even been nominated by the bbc who have been brilliant in helping Rob raise awareness.

Please sign this petition as I believe nobody is more deserving of this award.
