Good morning all

With 29 days left till the end of series 12, tommorow will be episode 6 and the conclusion to the two parter introducing the "Ruth" Doctor. Our next update will discuss our thoughts on this: we certainly have no issue with Jo Martin personally, and unlike Jodie Whittaker, we really like her performance: but always the question WHY lurks under the background...

This week, while the fanbase has tried to come to terms with the last part, supporters of the Jodie era praising it to high heavens (even while the Ruth Doctor trashed the rainbow outfit in a line that WE'D never be allowed to make) while other parts of the fanbase either walking away or being very wary and cautious.

#NotMyDoctorWho has continued to make a splash as our steady continued growth shows: and yet this waryness is also a factor slowing the potential growth we might make.

And there is no doubt that trolling and cyberbullying are part of that reticence: put simply, people dont want the hassle and punishment of being nails that stand out in the current climate.

This is even more true for Doctor Who You-tubers as fans commenting from their accounts.

Some of these channels have had hundreds of hours of love and care put into them over many years. Why should they put that at risk, and their relationships with talent on the show, to take a stand with our campaign, evne though they may well agree with it? Others are wary because they know there is powerful truth behind our campaign, and they wonder if the consequences if we succeed are more than they want to pay, especially if the show ends up being taken off-air.

Into this general climate now comes agressive trolling. Accounts and channels have been getting attacked by some nasty trolls alledging truly vile things becuase they THINK they are supporting us, even though, for above reasons, they actually are not!

CYBERBULLYING IS A CHRONIC ISSUE IN THIS FANBASE!

Which is of course a major point of WHY this campaign are running!

The #NotMyDoctorWho Change. Org petition campaign is EXACTLY that: a petition campaign! We are not ANYWHERE else! Im here on my personal Twitter as the petition starter, those who have signed stand with me, and THAT is who we are!

AT THIS TIME there are ZERO "named" Doctor Who channels supporting us. And we dont mind. Our petition is for EVERYONE and ANYONES signature is equal to anyone elses. We dont ask people to put channels they have put years of work into at risk supporting us

All ANYONE attacking ANY channel or account as being "part of #NotMyDoctorWho" is doing is proving this fanbase DOES have a chronic issue with cyberbullying: a KEY complaint we want addressed by the BBC! So thanks for proving the point...

Its QUITE clear how ANY dissent in this fanbase gets treated isnt it, after all? Signing with us is a stand against that too! Of course if we were NOT here Those channels would be getting attacked ANYWAY

If this general annoucement isnt enough, and anyone is being attacked in anyway for the accusation of supporting us, we say: come to us and we will SPECIFICALLY clarify you are not part of our campaign. Other than that, use block and report! Abusive Trolling is terrible behaviour

So basically, trolls, attack US, we are a change org petition and the petition writers personal Twitter and that is IT. Hence todays accompanying meme...

We do find it ironic that the blind rage of series 12's more radicalised suporters is leading them to attack people who arent choosing to stand with us.. yet!

With four full weeks of campaigning to go, and five more episodes to air, not all of which are likely to be good and at least two of which are likely to attack Canon, we say we are here, the choice is now known to exist, and the only thing that CAN happen is yet more and more signatures adding to our campaign.

This fanbase now has a CHOICE and dissent now has a VOICE: in that we have ALREADY succeeded.

The question now is, in the window of opportunity in which our campaign is active, WHAT will all these people in Doctor Who land struggling with their feelings about the show, the intent behind it and where it is now going, CHOOSE to do?

We expect a big last minute rush post episode 10, to say the least!
