The BBC are currently calling for participants to take part in a new reality TV show called "Britain’s Hardest Grafter". The show will pit the country's unemployed and lowest earners against each other in a series of "challenges" for a cash prize to find "Britain’s Hardest Grafter".

This is a tasteless and deeply damaging concept that takes the trend for “poverty porn” established by the Channel 4 series, Benefits Street, to a whole other disgusting level.
