GET MATT AND VIC ON BBC RADIO IN THE SOUTH WEST!

In May 2019, we lost Matt and Victoria from Heart Breakfast across Devon and Cornwall, due to de-regulation changes by OFCOM, and it's fair to say that we all felt a bit lost. Their show brought us joy and a smile on our faces as we drove to work each day and without them, the radio just doesn't sound the same anymore. 

A recent post by a member of Vic's 'Lemon Life' group on Facebook showed that loads of people posted comments of how much they are both missed and that a petition should be started to bring them back to the radio waves permanently! So, we the residents of Devon and Cornwall wish to petition the BBC to consider taking on Matt Rogers & Victoria Leigh Cutler so that we may continue to hear them on the radio.

After hearing their fabulous New Years Eve show across on the BBC across the South West, this petition is to get Matt & Vic back on our radios for good! Matt & Victoria are local celebrities and had over 1 million listeners.  It is well known that BBC Radio Cornwall listening number have declined over the previous 6 years and they have lost the proud status as the UK mainland’s most-listened-to BBC local station.  It is my belief that taking on presenters like Matt and Vic would help reverse this decline.

So please, if you do one thing today, sign this petition and let's make some noise to the BBC to bring back the South West's best breakfast show duo!
