BBC Sport have invited Australian bowler Glenn McGrath to co-commentate during the Ashes Series.  Pictures on the Internet show Mr McGrath on a trip to Zimbabwe grinning next to a dead elephant that he reportedly shot and killed in the pursuit of pleasure.  

The BBC is the backbone of this country and represents far more than just the output of TV or Radio broadcasting. It is a beacon for good across the globe, and we should all be very proud of it.  These pictures make everyone of his 563 Test wickets irrelevant, and having him on the BBC airwaves will only endorse the cruel actions of African game hunting.  

The murder of a creature that is proven to be as intelligent and sensitive as an Elephant is a truly despicable act. In fact, the killing of any creature in the name of sport or fun is something that I truly believe will one day be viewed as an act of barbaric and senseless cruelty that has no place in the modern world.
