SAVE TRAX FM 

Bauer Media, (the company that owns Trax FM), has announced that, from September 2020, Trax FM will be closed and replaced by a national radio network called ‘Greatest Hits Radio’.

Trax FM is much loved, and a long-established, hugely popular part of the Doncaster and Bassetlaw community. The station is a vital source of local news; information and support for local businesses. 

Local radio has never been more important. With regional press increasingly under threat, the loss of Trax FM would be a devastating blow to the communities of Worksop, Retford, Harworth, Doncaster and our wider rural communities.

It would spell the end of local radio; deprive businesses of a vital source of advertising and deny listeners a lifeline that many rely on to stay connected with their communities, especially now as we all adjust to life after lockdown.

If you believe that Doncaster and Bassetlaw deserves proper representation on local radio and you are against the closure of Trax FM, please sign our petition and ask everyone you know to sign it too! 

We call upon Bauer Media to reverse its decision and keep Trax FM on the airwaves.
