More than 20,000 people have signed a petition to prevent a transgender woman from being sent to an all-male prison. Tara Hudson, 26, from Bath, was ordered by magistrates to serve a 12-week sentence for assault at HMP Bristol - despite having lived as a woman her whole adult life.
