We the undersigned request the responsible authority or person consider extending the 30mph speed limit from the Junction of Poolemead Road on Whiteway Road (Pennyquick Hill) to the brook at the bottom of Whiteway Road (Pennyquick Hill).

We ask this as traffic drives far too fast on this road causing accidents and also to protect passengers on the number 5 Bus that emerges from the Junction of Newton Road.

Slow moving vehicles emerge from both Poolemead Road and Newton road and don’t stand a chance due to traffic speed.

We are fearful that there will be fatal accident soon if this is not done.
