Bassetlaw District Council is not taking the views of Retford people into consideration on the majority of issues. Most councillors are Worksop-centric and Retford is losing out. Retford is being turned into a large housing estate that locals can not afford with money from the builds going to fund mainly Worksop projects.

It is time Retford had its own Council back and took decisions affecting its people and its future back into local control.

We want Bassetlaw District Council to carry out a 'Community Governance Review' to help establish a Retford Town Council.
