Close All Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops Due to COVID-19
The Issue
As we all know, we are currently in a pandemic right now due to COVID-19. Many non-essential stores are closed to prevent the virus from spreading more. Only essential places like grocery stores, some fast food restaurants, pharmacies, doctors offices, and hospitals remain open.
Unfortunately, our Illinois Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops are still open due to them selling survival products and finding loopholes to stay open. Staying open with hundreds of people coming into the stores with large groups of people put the public at more risk to contracting the virus. Many of our customers are elderly and many families are bringing in their young children, even infants. I also worry for the safety and health of the workers. A huge group of the workers are about 50+ and another group of people in their early 20s.
Please help spread the word to help not only our Illinois location, but other locations in the country shut down as well.
