The New York Mets are owned by the Wilpon family. The team is in complete disarray due to the utter lack of management which all leads back to the simple fact that the wilpons refuse to spend any money in an attempt to bring a championship to queens for the first time since 1986. The Mets have one of the most loyal fan bases in all of sports and we have suffered too long. It has even reached the point where espn has posted articles stating the mlb should step in and force the wilpons to sell the team. As fans, the only thing we can do is sit here and pray that maybe, just maybe one day, we will see our beloved Mets win a championship.
