Barstool BU is gaining more traction and is becoming more popular as time goes on, however, its supporters need to be informed of its absolutely horrible leadership.

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool, has blatantly used racial, misogynistic, sexist, and overall offensive language. Moreover, he supports the offensive and disgusting actions done by his Barstool employees and colleagues.

His and the company's behavior are a slap to the face in the era of the #MeToo movement, Black Lives Matter movement, as well as to minorities and survivors everywhere.

But, this is not okay in ANY era.

Supporting Barstool means supporting the offensive, racist, misogynistic, and sexist language and actions done by the company, its employees, and its founder.

In addition, student athletes in all divisions can get money through endorsements from companies and other organizations.

A D1 volleyball athlete messaged Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool, and later became Barstool’s first athlete that sponsors their company.

Now, you can apply to become a Barstool Athlete through a google doc (and they give you a t-shirt). As such, student athletes have begun posting and flaunting the merchandise which promotes Barstool.

However, the student athletes are not getting actually endorsed, therefore are becoming free advertisements for Barstool.
