The problem that we are trying to stop in the state of Florida is date rape. Date rape is rape committed by someone with whom the victim has gone on or is currently on a date with. Officials call the process where a victim is drugged and assaulted DFSA (Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault), during this the victim can not give their consent or say no; they perpetrator usually puts the drug in a drink, usually alcohol, and the victim can not tell if the drink is spiked or not.  

Statistics 

1. 1/6 women in FL have been raped sometime in their life.
2. 40% of women in Florida have been a victim  of non-rape sexual violence.
3. Only 1/2 of the victims who have been raped have reported it.
4. 1,266,000 women in Florida have been raped at some point in their lives.
