We have invited the Barnet Times to come at the site (or opposite the entrance to Winters Skip Hire on Oakleigh Road South at the New Southgate Recreation Ground) to meet concerned residents so we can share with the press our disagreement. So come on Saturday February 28th at noon at the playground opposite the site. Bring as many people as you can of ALL ages. There is strength in numbers. We need to show the Barnet Council that they cannot plan things without our say. The Barnet times will take a photo of all the concerned residents in order to attract attention to our cause. A photo is worth 1000 words! They will use the photo to attract more signatures for our petition.
