Dear supporter,
For the last few years, you've helped us fight off the advances of a greedy developer who wants to demolish historic Audley House and turn it into a very large development in a suburban street.
As of last week, permission was granted to knock the building down.
Historic England has expressed an interest in this house's historical value and period detail; we'd like people to help us stay the execution of this house in any way they can, so that its character can be assessed.
So we'd like to ask you to write to local councillors, MPs, or anyone you feel can help.
Here is a letter template you can use
Here are some people you can write to regarding the decision:
fabien.gaudin@barnet.gov.uk - Director of Planning and Building Control at Barnet Council
david.pintoduschinsky.mp@parliament.uk - Hendon's MP
cllr.r.Chakraborty@barnet.gov.uk - West Hendon ward councillor
cllr.e.ambe@barnet.gov.uk - West Hendon ward councillor
cllr.a.prager@barnet.gov.uk - Hendon ward councillor
We greatly appreciate anything you can do to raise awareness and make noise on this issue.
Thank you all!
