Next Tuesday 20th July at a committee meeting at the Town Hall, the plans to move Hendon Library from its historic home to the ground floor of an accommodation block are likely to get the go-ahead.

I'm going to be presenting our "Save Hendon Library" petition and making a speech. Other residents will also be challenging local councillors.

DEMO DETAILS

If we ALL showed up for just half an hour at 6:30 pm outside the Town Hall, the councillors and the council would realise just how strong and widespread feelings are.

So please do come along. It would make ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. A few of us are speaking at the meeting but kicking off the evening with a swell of local support would be amazing.

I KNOW LOTS OF US DON'T NORMALLY DO "DEMOS", BUT THIS IS JUST GOING TO BE A LOVELY BUNCH OF NEIGHBOURS OF EVERY AGE FROM EVERY WALK OF LIFE COMING TOGETHER TO SAY, OY, BARNET COUNCIL, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

SEE YOU THERE!
