Animal cruelty in food production effects everyone. We naively take food off the shelf not knowing where is grew up, where it was slaughtered or how is was slaughtered. Sure eggs have a sign on them saying cage eggs or free range on them but, meat packaging doesn't say, this meat was live exported then killed with a sledge hammer and wasn't allowed to move it's entire life. We as a nation and as a world need to act now to give these animals a better quality of life. I am a 12-year-old girl who wants to make a change.
