After seeing the story on the ABC about how these beautiful, gentle creatures are treated in Asia and then finding out that Barnaby Joyce, the Agricultural Minister won't ban the export of greyhounds from Australia, I felt I had to do something.

The export of greyhounds is a travesty.  These dogs are already treated as a disposable money making asset in Australia, but to see how they are treated in Asia made me sick to my stomach. 

Organisations like Animals Australia are bringing the awareness of this situation to their supporters and the general public, but they need help.

Please sign this petition and force Barnaby Joyce to stop this live export trade - ask him to tell Asia to 'bugger off'.  He's done it once before - remember Johnny Depp's two dogs.  Well now he can do it to save other dogs.
