Lucci’s will be closing on February 26th due to unexpected and short-notices rent hikes. They have served our community well and they deserve to continue doing so. The rapid inflation and extreme rent prices of our time should not continue to be the death of Mom & Pop shops in our city. We have already lost great places like Ruby’s, but no more. Let us take action to help save Lucci’s and get the attention of city council who can take action and possibly help relocate Lucci’s to another property, if not find a way to negotiate with the recent owners of the lot that Lucci’s is in.

One more important note- it is one of the lasting remaining establishments of true Italian culture. Everything else has also closed. They are the last good supermarket of Italian goods in HB and in the surrounding area. If you’re Italian, please sign this and help save one of the last links to our culture.
