For years,  residents of our barangay have been demanding about having lack of street lights. However, the barangay officials haven't doing a step for this to clearly happen. 

Streets are dark and lack of visibility of sunset, specially when it's night and raining. According to my survey from our previous activity, they are concern of our safety and for our barangay to be better. Street lights can be a way to reduce the accidents and possible crime, and to ensure the safety of our residents, specially for the children and women.

The residents are complaining about this, for crimes usually happen at night. There are possible events that might happen like robbery, rape or even car accidents. Are we going to wait until these happen? 

As a student, I also find it hard, for I have a whole day class. I always go home late, for I am just commuting. I observed that, it is really unsafe, for we only have street lights to every shed of our barangay.

For the barangay officials, I know you also suffer with this, so I hope you find a solution for this. We are willing to help as long as we can for the safety of our residents and for the better barangay we can have.
