Craig Delawie as the U.S. ambassador to Kosovo should support democratic values and help Kosovo to become a state with a functioning democracy and free of corruption. However he is doing the opposite: Craig Delawie is supporting a regime that has lost all support in the population. Corruption in Kosovo is rampant, but this is no concern for Mr. Delawie. He is mostly concerned that U.S. companies get lucrative government contracts while opposition politicians get arrested. To remove Craig Delawie would send a signal to everyone that the United States government still cares about democracy and freedom and respects human rights.
