The Issue

Climate Change is already melting the ice in the Arctic at an alarming rate and allowing an oil company to drill where the ecosystem is already so fragile could lead to a disastrous outcome for the environment and animals in the area. Isn't it about time we start protecting our planet? All we need you to do is make a one minute phone call to the white house.

This call in protest will start on 03/16/2015-03/20/2015  9am-5pm eastern time. The number to call is 1-888-369-5791. After a message from Greenpeace you will be connected with an operator system. You will hear a few prerecorded options (takes less than a minute, stay on the line) then you will be transferred to a real white house operator.

Here's what to say: "Hi, my name is _____ and I am calling from _______ with a message to president Obama. I am very strongly opposed to Arctic drilling and I'd like to ask President Obama to deny Shell and other oil companies permits to drill in the Alaskan Arctic."  Make sure to actually call! The phone calls are what count!!!

That's all there is. Easy Peasy! Share this and let's get the word out!!! We will stop big oil from taking advantage or already fragile ecosystems!!!
