Open Letter to President Obama

Dear Mr. President Obama:

Namasthe from your most ardent Indian American supporter. 

I was one of your most vocal supporters along with many of our Indian American diaspora that supported and voted enthusiastically to support your presidency twice. Your election to American Presidency, I consider, is one of the most important milestones in American and world history, along with the civil rights movement led by Dr. Martin Luther King, an ideological disciple of Mahatma Gandhi, the Greatest Indian. You are an inspiration to all the humans worldwide who dream to achieve the most coveted from the ultimate desperate situations. Hats off Mr. President.

The reason for my open letter is to notify you of certain someone from India, who wants to project your Democratic Party fundraising meeting with you to manipulate innocent people back home that you requested to meet this person to discuss and approve their corrupt and violent ways. The name of the person is Lokesh Nara, with no other qualifications than being son of allegedly the most corrupted Chief Minister of the Southern State of Andhra Pradesh, which is reeling under dire financial circumstances.

Here are some of his qualifications:

Son of the Chief Minister of AP, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, widely described as the most corrupt, media savvy, and known for his nepotism.
Got educated in the US, allegedly with the help of corrupt henchmen of his father, incidentally in jail for cheating.
Allegedly behind the most violent elimination of opposition leaders in the state, by using official police machinery. There are already over hundred such murders in the past one year of their rule.
Chief Coordinator of his party workers welfare trust fund, collected from volunteers across the world. The main objective of this fund is to help the utmost needy, poorest of the poor, and accident victims of the party workers. And, surprisingly he went on a self-image building tour. He is allegedly using the same trust fund money to buy the $10,000 ticket to shake your hand in the fundraising event, which will be shown by his own media as an official meeting requested by you and in the meeting you glorified him and his father.
Allegedly behind the usurping of 50,000 acres of fertile lands to build new capital, of which most of the acreage will go to their henchmen.
He was allegedly behind the harassment and illegal arrest of several educated people for expression of freedom of speech in social media, just because they were against the ways of his father.
I request you Mr. President to reject the $10,000 donation to meet with you as part of the big donor group, as this will encourage more such people buying your handshakes and exploit innocent people across the third world countries. You haven been a torch bearer for the oppressed and I am pretty sure that you would not allow this person to use your name, if you know the facts. And, that’s exactly why I am writing this open letter.

Please reject this person Lokesh Nara’s ill-gotten money and avoid meeting with him to restore confidence in our American democratic values. You will be making a great statement to the people of the world that you don’t tolerate corrupt leaders and selfish exploitation of the innocent people.

I want to reiterate that you will keep our American pride high by rejecting these kind of people and their donations that were collected from ordinary people across India to buy your handshake.
