In most schools around the UK the USA a school uniform is mandatory, this ridiculous and unnecesary obligation has no good purpose.  There are several reasons as to why this is not good in any way.  Not only does this have a financial impact on the students (and their families) of lower economical status, but also a psychological effect on the students.

The average uniform costs from around $50 to $200 for one and from $100 to $200 for a school wardrobe in the US.  In the UK the average cost is of £153 for one and from £282 to £470 for a school wardrobe.  This may not seem like much to some people but for the families of lower income this can be a serious dent in the wallet.  The use of uniforms reduces the freedom of thought and expression.  It is extremely important that our students, our next generation, have a creative and free mind in their time of studying, as this will help them properly find their passion and future employment. 

Obviously there are supposedly some positives to school uniforms, but they do not provide any real advantage in their education.  

Please help me and students around the world end this senseless waste of money and time.
